How to track work hours for two jobs
Record each job as a separate shift so its hours and rate stay together.
All guidesEnter your first job’s shift
Choose the week and enter the first shift’s start time, end time, and unpaid break in the usual row. Replace the example entries with the times you actually worked.
Add your second job
Click + Add shift near OFF for that day. The expanded section contains optional job names and hourly rates, plus a second shift’s time and break fields. Use + Add another shift for additional sessions, up to five per day.
Use separate entries for separate work sessions. Don’t enter the entire span from your first job’s start to your second job’s finish, because the gap between jobs would be included.
Set the correct rate for each job
You can label shifts “Cafe” and “Store,” then give each its own rate. Leave a shift rate blank to use the weekly rate shown beside the timesheet.
| Job | Shift | Unpaid break | Hours | Rate | Pay |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cafe | 9 AM–1 PM | 0 min | 4 | $20 | $80 |
| Store | 3 PM–7:30 PM | 30 min | 4 | $25 | $100 |
The daily total is 8 hours and estimated pay is $180 before taxes. The two-hour gap between jobs is excluded. Overtime premiums are not calculated automatically.
Save or download the complete week
The daily and weekly totals include all shifts. Save week stores them in your account; Use for next week copies their times, job names, and rates. Download timesheet creates a CSV with separate rows for each shift. Pro pay-period reports also include the job names and rates.
Remove shift deletes an extra session from the current timesheet. Marking a day OFF clears all of its sessions after confirmation when extra shifts exist. Save the week to keep your changes.
